Welcome to our newest Vintage Collection titled "Antique Days of the Week." These designs may look like your typical redwork designs but they are actually quite different. Each stitch repeats 7 times to mimic hand embroidery thread. The look is quite different and unique! There are seven different main designs signifying each day and a different antique. Each main design comes in two different sizes. We broke each design into smaller elements so the individual girls or saying can be added to any project you desire. We created tea towels for this collection. There is a tutorial on the following pages that will demonstrate how to create standard tea towels. You can make a tea towel out of linen or high quality cotton. For this collection we used natural cotton. For an added vintage touch you can add vintage pieces of fabric or trims to the tea towels.

You are going to love the latest addition to our vintage line titled Autumn Cutwork. This beautiful collection features leaves, acorns, pumpkins and beautiful autumn arrangements all using vintage cutwork techniques. The difference between this collection and old-fashioned cutwork is that instead of cutting each hole by hand when the design is complete, you cut the holes first and let the design embroider over them. We accomplish this using a unique cutwork technique that is included in our tutorial.

We created two different table runners for this collection. We used the cutwork designs in two different color combinations. Both table runners were purchased at a store, this saved a lot of time because we didn't have to construct the project from scratch! You can even use a table runner you already have. We then stitched the designs on high quality linen and applied them to the blank runners. Our tutorial will give you the step-by-step instructions on how to create these great projects. There are 8 individual design icons without the medallion portion that comes in two sizes each. The medallions come in 2 different sizes and the corners have been re-sized and rotated so you don't have to do it!

This collection is full of soft and beautiful baby designs. There are storks, booties, rattles, a rocking horse, a baby buggy and a host of others. All of the flowers in the collection were hand digitized to simulate hand stitching and most of the running stitches are very long and use seven ply stitches to simulate thicker hand embroidery thread. Create a lap quilt using three of the jumbo designs. We used cotton thread for a vintage look as well and we only used 8 colors in the whole collection. We can assure you that no matter what project you use these vintage designs for everyone will love them!

The difference between this collection and old fashion cutwork is instead of cutting each hole by hand after the design is completed, you cut the holes first and let the design embroider over them. We accomplish this using a unique cutwork technique that is taught in our comprehensive tutorial. There are 46 different files total and the project for this collection was tea towels, which make the perfect addition to any kitchen. This collection and they way we chose the colors in the designs differ from almost anything else we've ever done. We decided to make the designs tonal, meaning all of the colors are in the same shade, which is also the shade of the base fabric. It is actually an easy technique; simply choose 7 or 8 colors that are all a shade apart. For example on the pink tea towel we chose 8 shades of pink thread. The best part of this technique is that you can mix brands of thread without issue. After the colors are chosen simply use them at random, they will all look beautiful together and go perfectly with the background. Remember, choose your fabric first and then choose 7 or 8 shades of thread to go with it. No matter what your color choice is the designs are guaranteed to look great.

Deck the Halls is like two collections in one! The first half of the collection is comprised of vintage quilt blocks. There are 20 different blocks in 3 different sizes. The blocks have a running stitch character and the character is framed by a motif stitch pattern. The project for the quilt designs is a puffy vintage quilt. The second part of the collection is made up of hand digitized Christmas designs. They were digitized entirely by hand and are simple gorgeous. If you love vintage and quilting designs you will love this collection.

When I sat down with our artist and designed the floral cutwork collection I wanted to create unique designs with 8 different flowers. To me it was important to have cutwork in the design but not too much, if there were too many cut pieces the flowers wouldn't look as authentic. We designed 8 different beautiful flowers. When the flowers were finished I felt the collection needed something more so we then designed a different set of brackets for each flower. The brackets really add to the flower making the finished design a larger, more elegant design. Each flower and bracket comes in two different sizes; I've also included the mirrored versions of the brackets so you don't have to do any design editing. To finish off the collection I added a small corner design that goes with each individual flower as well, the corner designs would look great on a napkin. As for the projects for this collection we used the flowers in two different ways. The first way was on a tea towel. The tea towel is the perfect compliment for any vintage design. You can purchase pre-made tea towels or create one from scratch. The instructions on how to create one are included in a tutorial located on the CD-Rom in the tutorials folder. The second project is a pillow, we created the pillow so that a complimentary color will show through the cutwork, and the end result is stunning. How do you embroider the flowers and brackets together? For those of you that have a new machine with a large hoop you can use your software to merge all three designs together and send them to your machine. If you have a machine that cannot embroider the larger size you can use templates to line all of your designs. There is a tutorial included in the "tutorials" folder on the CD-Rom called "The Template Tutorial". This tutorial will show you how to combine and embroider designs together. Also, if you have never created cutwork this is the perfect collection to try out this technique. A tutorial is included on the following pages.

Instead of digitizing the designs with 2 layers of thread like a redwork design each stitch repeats 7 times to mimic hand sewn embroidery floss. The look is quite different and unique! Hand embroidery has made a huge resurgence this year and with our Homespun Christmas collection we wanted to give you a hand embroidered applique look, except it will be done on your machine. The collection consists of traditional felt applique designs and running stitch designs. The felt designs are created using a blanket stitch technique with four layers of cotton thread. The four layers create a thick yarn like look and the use of a blanket stitch is a traditional hand technique. The process used to create the applique is very simple. The running stitch designs are unique as well; instead of a two-layered stitch they are created using seven layers for a thick beautiful look. They are also created using multiple colors so when you use them with the applique designs they coordinate beautifully. The project we created for this collection is a felt layered quilt. I"m sure you will love both the project and the techniques we used in these beautiful vintage Christmas designs

This is a beautiful, yet simple vintage collection titled Free Standing Leaves. If you don't enjoy hooping large projects this is the perfect technique for you. All of the leaves are embroidered on organza, cut out and then applied to your project. This is a fun technique by itself, but to make it even more interesting we used lace fabrics as the applique for a vintage look! Our tutorial will teach you how to create freestanding applique designs and give you exciting project ideas as well.

We created the original Victorian Monogram collection almost 4 years ago and it has been our most well received collection ever! We decided to revisit the collection with Victorian Monogram 2. The collection uses the same colors and same type of flower, but everything else is different. If you have the original collection the first thing you will notice is that the letters are larger! Each letter comes in two different sizes, the small size is for the 5"x7" hoop and the larger letter is for jumbo hoops.
