Last year we created two collections that combined embroidery with quilting techniques, Harvest Quilt and Spring Quilt. Those collections combined multiple types of embroidery designs with quilting techniques. The Christmas Quilt collection is slightly different. Each block includes an embroidered element and crazy quilt piecing. This collection has five different themes: a bell, holly, poinsettia, star and Christmas tree. Each of those elements is done three different ways, stitched, applique, and a homespun applique. There are also stitched individual designs that were used to embellish the napkins. We even carried the theme even further by creating some pot-holders to match the placemat and napkins.

We created these lovely quilted snowflakes to go along with our other quilting collections. They look beautiful on their own or added to any existing quilt. There are 15 different snowflakes in three different sizes for all of your hooping needs. The files are all formatted the same with files labeled "A" for the 4"x4" hoop, "B" are for the 5"x7" hoop and "C" are for the jumbo hoops. Sleigh Ride is the follow-up collection to Floral Tile Scene. Both collections were created in the same fashion, using twelve separate embroidery designs to create one large scene. "Floral Tile" was such a huge hit that it was only natural for us to come out with another "scene" collection. Now we offer the scene in a third size for those of you with 6"x10" hoops. Sleigh Ride is not a "Christmas" collection per say, there are no Santas or elves, it's just a beautiful winter scene for all to enjoy.

Welcome to the newest Snowman collection titled Snow Fun! We release a new Snowman collection each year and this year the theme is winter sports. There are Snowmen skiing and skating along with family designs, trees and other design elements to compliment them. Most of the designs are applique and we used ultra suede as the fabric of choice. Since we have been embroidering a lot of garments recently with our designs we decided to create two different snowmen garments, a denim shirt and a hooded sweatshirt. The projects are easy to create and I am sure you will have fun embroidering all of your winter projects with these delightful Snowmen designs.

What fun would it be to have all your accessories embroidered with Snowflakes? There are seven different projects included with three different tutorials. These designs were all created with a raw edge for a professional modern look. The fabric we chose to create these projects was ultra suede, which is easy to work with, readily available and comes in beautiful colors and patterns. Since the projects have a raw edge you need to choose a fabric that won't fray. Leather, suede, vinyl, ultra-suede and some knits will work. You can use denim or other fabrics if you are going for a frayed edge look. Theses projects are so easy and there is absolutely no sewing required.

Snowflake Lace will give you a mixture of free standing & lace-like designs for you to experiment with. They are great to put on decorative pillows, or as lace doilys, place mats or even on garments. Use metallic thread to give them that extra POP! As a free gift we will give an Asian style bowl that's easy to assemble and uses very few pieces. The same pieces to create the bowl are used to create a decorative base for the bowl to sit on. Looks great in metallic & jewels. Try it you'll love it!

Four years ago we created our first Mini Collection titled "Snowflakes" and this collection has been a customer favorite ever since! When we were designing our winter collections this year we decided to revisit the snowflakes theme again for this new collection titled "Snowflakes 2". This collection contains beautiful multi-colored snowflake scenes as well as individual snowflakes designs. You will love to create projects with these designs all winter long! Our project for this collection is a denim shirt using three of the snowflake designs. If you have never created a garment before we are also including our Fashion Workbook on the CD-Rom. The Fashion Workbook is in the tutorials folder and it will give you dozens of ideas on how to make your garments pop!

Let's be honest, the snowman is the only excuse that people have to buy carrots in the middle of December! Our snowman is dressed & ready to go, he has his hat, mittens & big scarf. You can also stitch out multiple sets of mittens or scarves to give him a different look each year or interchange his mittens with another characters for the same effect.

Every year we create a new snowman collection so we decided to create a large tile scene with three snowmen and all of their winter friends. We even added the echo quilting stitches that you see into the blocks so you don't have too. This collection has 10 rectangular blocks instead of the usual square blocks, this means less embroidering and sewing with the same wonderful end result! This is a 10-block tile scene that comes in three different sizes, a small size for the 5"x7" hoop a medium size for the 6"x10" hoop and a large size for the 7"x12" hoop. We include a master color list and what types of fabric you will need to complete the project. As far as tile scenes go, this one has among the least amount of blocks and uses quite a few appliques so it is not that difficult to complete. We hope you enjoy embroidering this project, it was a challenge to create but worth all of the effort as you can see!
