DESIGN COLLECTIONS - QUILTING

Asian Quilt (126 Designs) $69.95

The Asian Quilt collection has 42 different designs included in 3 different sizes of each. There are three types of designs included in the collection. There are traditional Asian elements in the collection as well as connecting Sashiko style designs. Sashiko is a beautiful stitching style that is created entirely by hand. It is impossible to recreate the stitching on an embroidery machine, but you can still embroider beautifully inspired Sashiko designs. I created this collection in a different way compared to our other quilt collections. Each design includes a squaring stitch; this is the first step in the design. This designates the size of your block so you no longer need to measure and square off the fabric. Creating one of our projects is even easier now. This technique is all explained in the tutorial. We hope you enjoy our new Quilting line and we look forward to creating even more designs for quilting very soon!

Baltimore Blossoms (125 Designs) $69.95

Our newest release in our quilt line is called Baltimore Blossoms and is based on traditional quilt designs. We are giving you two types of designs in this collection. The first type of design is redwork. You get 20 different designs digitized in four different sizes so that no matter what size hoop you have you can enjoy these designs. The second type of design is a fully stitched version of the design in two different sizes. These designs look great on smaller quilts. We have also included five different stipple frames that can be merged with the stitched designs in your embroidery machine for beautiful stippled borders that look like you created them by hand.

Butterfly Quilt (120 Designs) $69.95

Butterfly Quilt contains two different types of designs. The first type is a traditional Redwork design in 3 different sizes, so no matter what type of machine you have or what size block you want to create you will have the perfect design. The second type of design is the Redwork Design framed by beautiful motif stitches. By stitching the design with a layer of batting between two layers of fabric you can create a unique puffy quilt. The motif designs come in three different sizes. We created two different projects, one with each type of design.

Cardinal Crazy Quilt (50 Designs) $39.95

The Cardinal icons create this beautiful crazy quilt design. We had fun choosing the different lace fabrics for the background giving it a nice texture and the red cardinals against the white lace just pop as they sit perched on the tree branches. Creating Crazy Quilts on an embroidery machine is such an easy technique! The crazy quilt technique has been popular with quilters for years but if aren't a quilter you have probably never tried this amazing technique. If you are a quilter that embroiders as well....you can combine both hobbies into this project. There are a multitude of fabrics to choose from so this was a fun way for us to launch this technique. You create a crazy quilt by mixing different fabrics in a patchwork style. There are a few different crazy quilt designs for embroidery machines but the techniques that were used required a lot of steps that involved folding fabric and it took a long time to complete a block. We used a much simpler technique with these designs. The best part about crazy quilts are when they are complete you have a scene with a large icon in the center instead of just a quilt. Our tutorial contains an extensive guide that will demonstrate how to choose your fabrics, create a block and finish the quilt. In the finished wall hanging notice how the bands of fabric continue through the whole design even though they are done in different hoopings.

Christmas Quilt (135 designs) $69.95

Last year we created two collections that combined embroidery with quilting techniques, Harvest Quilt and Spring Quilt. Those collections combined multiple types of embroidery designs with quilting techniques. The Christmas Quilt collection is slightly different. Each block includes an embroidered element and crazy quilt piecing. This collection has five different themes: a bell, holly, poinsettia, star and Christmas tree. Each of those elements is done three different ways, stitched, applique, and a homespun applique. There are also stitched individual designs that were used to embellish the napkins. We even carried the theme even further by creating some pot-holders to match the placemat and napkins.

Christmas Tree Crazy Quilt (50 Designs) $39.95

Fantasy Birds (75 designs) $89.95

The Fantasy Birds Collection is our 3rd Special Edition. The first two Special Editions were similar in that they were symmetrical floral quilts. This is entirely different. This collection has beautiful birds in beautiful Jacobean inspired flowers. There are also 4 different birds that cover multiple blocks. This collection has a lot of options. There are fully stitched blocks, blank blocks and dozens of individual designs. Each of the different blocks comes in 3 different sizes and many include mirrored versions. There is absolutely no editing needed on your part to create the projects, simply embroider the designs with your choice of fabrics, then sew the blocks together to form your quilt or pillow, it's that simple! The full color printed tutorial that is included with this collection will tell you everything you need to know to create a beautiful project. We include layouts, tips and ideas as well as the colors we chose.

Harvest Quilt (80 Designs) $69.95

For this project we created place mats and napkins. As you can see from the pictures we used just the apple designs for one of them and the pumpkin designs for the other. The napkins are embroidered with the small stitched version of the designs. When we planned this Harvest Quilt collection we decided to include some of finishing touches of quilting techniques right in the embroidery designs themselves! We made four different types of block designs with five different embroidery design themes. The themes are perfect for fall sewing projects: acorn, pumpkin, apple, oak and maple leaf. Each design is made in all four-block styles. Each block is offered in two sizes and the embroidery designs are also included separately in two sizes. Every block incorporates an embroidery technique and a quilt technique. Here is more information about the blocks:
1.Checkerboard block with stitched embroidery design. This block uses the crazy quilt applique technique to apply five different fabrics. The first four are a checkerboard pattern with a fifth square centered. A beautifully detailed, stitched design is then embroidered in the center of this final square.
2.Stippeled block and applique embroidery design
This block contains a standard applique design that is surrounded by hand digitized stippling for a truly hand crafted effect.
3. Striped block with running stitch design. This block also uses the crazy quilt technique to apply five different fabrics in strips. Running stitch designs in a continuous border style are then stitched on, several of the strips to complete the look.
4. Homespun applique design with echo quilting Homespun applique designs are appliques that are finished with a hand digitized blanket stitch instead of a satin stitch. For an authentic hand made look, use felt for your applique pieces. Echo quilting surrounds the design to complete the block.

Nursery Quilt (140 Designs) $69.95

The Nursery Quilt Collection is our 3rd release for our new quilt design line. This collection contains 15 different designs digitized three different ways and in three different sizes! The first version is a "redwork" version. You can use these designs to create a beautiful traditional quilt. The second version is a "trapunto" version that we embroidered on polar fleece for a unique quilt. The third version is a large oval with "motif" stitches. The large oval designs look great using puffy batting and stretch fabric. We created a beautiful pillow using one of these designs.

Owl Crazy Quilt (25 Designs) $39.95

This Owl Crazy Quilt design is a fun design especially for all those folks that love and collect anything with owls! Creating Crazy Quilts on an embroidery machine is such an easy technique! The crazy quilt technique has been popular with quilters for years but if aren't a quilter you have probably never tried this amazing technique. If you are a quilter that embroiders as well...you can combine both hobbies into this project. As you can see on this project we were able to pick some really nice fabrics. You can let your own creative style emerge and use some of those smaller pieces of fabric that you have been saving.
