You are going to love the latest addition to our vintage line titled Autumn Cutwork. This beautiful collection features leaves, acorns, pumpkins and beautiful autumn arrangements all using vintage cutwork techniques. The difference between this collection and old-fashioned cutwork is that instead of cutting each hole by hand when the design is complete, you cut the holes first and let the design embroider over them. We accomplish this using a unique cutwork technique that is included in our tutorial.

We created two different table runners for this collection. We used the cutwork designs in two different color combinations. Both table runners were purchased at a store, this saved a lot of time because we didn't have to construct the project from scratch! You can even use a table runner you already have. We then stitched the designs on high quality linen and applied them to the blank runners. Our tutorial will give you the step-by-step instructions on how to create these great projects. There are 8 individual design icons without the medallion portion that comes in two sizes each. The medallions come in 2 different sizes and the corners have been re-sized and rotated so you don't have to do it!

Four years ago we released a collection called "Autumn Harvest". The collection contained popular design elements like pumpkins, scarecrows and leaves. The collection was extremely popular over the years and we decided to revisit the theme with a different artist and new art. The Autumn Harvest 2 collection is full of beautiful designs. There are five different applique leaves in 2 different sizes, as well as falling leaf scenes. There are pumpkins, Jack-O-Lanterns and two different scarecrows. There are 48 different files in all and the designs will look great on garments, accessories and home decor projects.

When we were planning our Autumn releases this year we wanted to design something that was truly spectacular. Our artist Ginny did a wonderful job of painting the covered bridge scene. The covered bridge is surrounded by beautiful fall foliage and the whole scene is framed with fall leaves. There are a few fill patterns in the design, but for the most part each of the elements were completely shaded by hand. The designs come in four different sizes, the smallest is for the 5"x7" hoop and the largest is for those of you who have a new machine with a hoop that is 8" wide! The 8" blocks create a huge scene for those extra large walls! We also instruct you on fabric choices and some tips and tricks for no hassle embroidery. Trick or Treat! Yes it's that time once again when everyone starts thinking about Halloween costumes, carving pumpkins, and all that Halloween candy! This collection is perfect for all you Trick or Treater enthusiast out there because it has a wonderful quilt design with all your favorite Halloween icons of spooks and goblins. You can even make your own Halloween ornaments!

For this project we created place mats and napkins. As you can see from the pictures we used just the apple designs for one of them and the pumpkin designs for the other. The napkins are embroidered with the small stitched version of the designs. When we planned this Harvest Quilt collection we decided to include some of finishing touches of quilting techniques right in the embroidery designs themselves! We made four different types of block designs with five different embroidery design themes. The themes are perfect for fall sewing projects: acorn, pumpkin, apple, oak and maple leaf. Each design is made in all four-block styles. Each block is offered in two sizes and the embroidery designs are also included separately in two sizes. Every block incorporates an embroidery technique and a quilt technique. Here is more information about the blocks:
1.Checkerboard block with stitched embroidery design. This block uses the crazy quilt applique technique to apply five different fabrics. The first four are a checkerboard pattern with a fifth square centered. A beautifully detailed, stitched design is then embroidered in the center of this final square.
2.Stippeled block and applique embroidery design
This block contains a standard applique design that is surrounded by hand digitized stippling for a truly hand crafted effect.
3. Striped block with running stitch design. This block also uses the crazy quilt technique to apply five different fabrics in strips. Running stitch designs in a continuous border style are then stitched on, several of the strips to complete the look.
4. Homespun applique design with echo quilting Homespun applique designs are appliques that are finished with a hand digitized blanket stitch instead of a satin stitch. For an authentic hand made look, use felt for your applique pieces. Echo quilting surrounds the design to complete the block.

Instead of digitizing the designs with 2 layers of thread like a redwork design each stitch repeats 7 times to mimic hand sewn embroidery floss. The look is quite different and unique! There are 12 different themes in this collection and each design comes in 3 sizes. You can create a different tea towel for every holiday! These designs make perfect gifts for everyone on your list. You can purchase pre-made tea towels or create your own. The tutorial demonstrates how to create a tea towel from linen or cotton. You can make a tea towel out of linen or high quality cotton. There are over 25 different Halloween designs in this collection that would look great on quilts, garments and even trick or treat bags! Most of the designs contain applique, so that the stitches can be kept to a minimum without sacrificing the size of the designs. We used Craft felt for most of the appliques. The samples we created are equally as fun as the designs themselves. We created three different sweatshirt jackets using creative sewing techniques and multiple embroidery designs. The Autumn Sampler is like two collections in one! The first half of the collection is comprised of vintage quilt blocks. There are 20 different blocks in 3 different sizes. The blocks have a running stitch character and the character is framed by a motif stitch pattern. Since the motif stitch is included in the design there is no need for you to do any additional stitch work like stippling when you are creating your quilt. The project for the quilt designs is a puffy vintage quilt. This puffy quilt is simply beautiful and easy to create! There is no hand stuffing involved, it is all done in the hoop. The puffy quilt designs come in three different sizes so no matter what size quilt you want to create, one of the sizes will work perfectly.
The second half of the collection contains hand stitched embroidery designs. Each design has been digitized one stitch at a time with a 5-ply running stitch for a truly unique hand embroidered look.
